Worried how you'll know when your softener needs salt? Don't be! The Salt Level feature makes maintaining your softener easy by letting you know when it's time to add more. By taking a moment to reset your softener's salt level whenever you add salt, you can ensure it'll alert you the next time it gets low. Just follow these 3 easy steps. As a reminder, you'll want to keep your salt between the levels 2 - 5 on your brine well tube.
1. Confirm you're on the home screen displaying a steady clock (not flashing). If not, tap the Program button repeatedly until the clock shows.
2. Open the lid to check your salt level on the brinewell number scale.
3. Press the Set Salt Level button to raise your salt level until the number of black ovals on the display matches the level at which your salt is in your tank. This button is usually in the upper left of the softener's controls:
That's it! You'll want to add more salt when your softener's Low Salt light starts to flash.
