If you have Ferrous (Clear Water Iron) in your water supply, please follow the instructions below to correctly program your hardness:
1. Retrieve your hardness number in GPG (grains per gallon).
2. Retrieve your clear water iron value in PPM (parts per million). For each PPM of iron, you'll need to add five (5) onto the hardness value.

3. Using the Program/Select button, navigate to the 'Hardness' setting and use the Up/Down arrows to set the correct value. If you need more instruction, visit our Hardness Programming article.
4. Use the Program/Select button a few times to return to the home screen.
